Vegan chefs Mark Shadle and Amy Beach of G-Zen restaurant at the Scranton Library, Madison

Vegan! Organic! Raw!  Local! Sustainable!  Join these two renowned chefs as they discuss the benefits of a plant-based diet, raw foods, juicing and organic cuisine, and share suggestions for exploring this way of eating (and living). Mark Shadle is a three-medal winner on the American Natural Foods team at the Culinary Olympics in Germany.  Michelle Obama invited to him to the White House and he is involved in her Chefs Move to School initiative. Ami Beach has been immersed in the world of nutrition and holistic medicine for two decades.  She is a licensed CHT, a certified Holistic Nutritionist and a certified raw foods chef.  Her cookbook Nectar in the Raw was released  in 2011.
