Summer Exhibit at Lee's Academy

The Business of Leisure:  Madison Welcomes its Summer Colony

A fun and informative look at how Madison evolved from a agricultural and maritime economy in the late 19th and early 20th century into a growing, seasonal community of cottagers and vacationers.  The exhibit includes period costumes, artifacts and photographs.   Youngsters can enjoy an "I-Spy" game.

The exhibit is open Saturdays from 11 am - 4 pm every Saturday through August 31st.  Free admission, contributions encouraged.  Information at 203-245-4567 or at www.madisoncthistorical.org.  Check out our Facebook page and "Like" us!
