Shoreline Chorale Open Sing

Come and sing with the Shoreline Chorale as we prepare for our Fall concert titled Abraham, Martin, and John: Rejoicing in Hope. The Fall Season music theme will be American music centered on the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address, and the 50th anniversary of the assassination of JFK. The program will be performed in collaboration with the Chamber Choir of Westbrook High School.

Interested singers are also welcome to attend the first rehearsal of the Fall season on August 28, 7 pm, at Saint Andrews Church, 232 Durham Road, Madison.

As a non-audition community chorus, the Chorale achieves an extraordinarily high level of musicianship via focus on excellence through a challenging variety of musical styles.  The Chorale draws members from New Haven, and Middlesex Counties. Many members also sing in church choirs, other choruses, and as soloists. While members' backgrounds vary from beginner to veteran, the Chorale boasts that the only requirements are a sincere love of singing and a commitment to regular attendance at rehearsals. Membership is open to persons age 16 and over.
