Pet Emergency Preparedness at the Scranton Memorial Library

Pet Emergency Preparedness at the Scranton Memorial Library.  Director of Operations and Animal Rescue Technician Jon Nowinski of EARS (Emergency Animal Response Service) will discuss how you can be better prepared for emergencies that affect your animals. We will provide handouts with helpful tips, supply checklists, and discuss some of the emergency situations that could happen here in Connecticut. You'll also get to meet Coyote, a 6-year-old Australian Cattle Dog who was rescued from a state animal control shelter, and who is undergoing training as a search dog for disasters, and also is the EARS Animal Ambassador!  Tuesday, July 9th at 7pm  Free and open to all.
