The Connecticut Association for the Gifted (CAG) will
be sponsoring a Minds in Motion event at The Country School in Madison
on Saturday, October 5th from 12:30-4:00pm. Minds in Motions
offers exciting, hands-on, fast-paced workshops for all interested children in grades K-8.
Workshops being offered focus on science, the arts,
and problem-solving and include 'Wild Weather' by Talcott Mountain Science
Center, 'Solving the Rubik's Cube' by Johns Hopkins Center for
Talented Youth, 'Berry Full of DNA' by The Country School, and 'Young
Actor's Workshop' by Oddfellows Playhouse.
The cost for attending the sessions is $35 (CAG members receive a discount). Parents are invited to attend free sessions geared towards adults,
including a keynote address by Dr. Laurie Bottiger, Head of School at The
Country School.
Space is limited. Registration
closes September 20th. More information, including registration
