Madison Historical Society's 42nd Annual Antiques Fair


Madison Historical Society presents Annual Antiques Fair

           The Madison Historical Society will hold its 42nd annual Antiques Fair on the Madison Town Green on Saturday, August 24 from 9 am to 4 pm.  The event will feature up to 75 dealers from all over New England and will be managed by the Madison Historical Society for the first time since 2010.  A sampling of items for sale  includes antique and estate jewelry and watches, paintings, folk art and prints, 18th to 20th century American and European furniture, vintage clothing and accessories, classic decorative items, linens and textiles, and Colonial weaponry.  Also included will be china and pottery, old bottles, weather vanes, pond boats, ships in bottles, lightning rods, smalls,  decorative items, and much more.
     Well-known antiques appraiser Jay St. Mark, an expert in the field for over 40 years, will be on site from 9 am to 3 pm and will be available to appraise items for $5 per object. An assortment of creative and popular food vendors will be nearby throughout the day, and a sidewalk cafe will be set up for dining.
