Journey to Health and Wellness Fair

Wednesday, May 15,  10:00 am to 3:00 pm.   Learn how A Journey to Health & Wellness for adults aged 55 and older can be both fun and healthy.  All activities are free.  Vendor Fair with educational materials and raffle prizes.  Exercise demonstrations, including Tai-Chi, Line Dancing, Yoga and Tap Dancing.  Talks on avoiding scams, benefits for Veterans and their spouses, Medicare benefits and a presentation by the Alzheimer's Association of Connecticut. Also available will be the Yale Mammography van (8:00am – 2:30pm; make appointment for a Mammogram by calling 203-200-5251).  Family caregivers are especially welcomed.  Reception follows at 6:00pm with light refreshments, music and tour of the Senior Center.  All are welcome to attend this free community event.
