Nite In Hand, Neighbor

Nite in Hand is a fun, safe and substance free evening of celebration held graduation night at the Daniel Hand High School.  Daniel Hand High School is literally transformed with elaborate decorations and our grads feel transported to another place and time.  For the past 23 years, Nite in Hand has allowed Madison's grads to spend the entire night celebrating together in a safe environment.  

Planning has begun for the Daniel Hand High School, Class of 2012, Nite in Hand safe grad night.  Three parents have volunteered their time to Co-Chair this year's organizing committee.  They are Alicia Dolce, Peggy Van Antwerp and Linda Nietlisbach.

Nite in Hand is planned and funded entirely by parents, teachers, business owners, students and members of the community.  Many local businesses and civic organizations contribute generously through monetary donations, gift items for the senior auction and the traditional Nite in Hand raffle, as well as providing food for the event. 

Currently the most pressing need for volunteers is to plan and execute fundraising.  Funding is needed for decorations, supplies, entertainment 

The first fundraiser for this year is the sale of Tiger Coffee.  Tiger Coffee is a Fair Trade and Organic coffee from Sumatra.  It was custom roasted by Willoughby&#39;s Coffee and Tea.  Please stop in at Given Fine Chocolates and Indulgences and purchase a pound of Tiger Coffee.  Tiger Coffee will also be sold in front of Stop and Shop on Sunday, January 15th and Saturday, January 21st.  All proceeds from the sale of Tiger Coffee benefit Nite in Hand.   <br>Stay in touch with the latest news by visiting the Nite in Hand page on the Daniel Hand High School website, the Nite in Hand Facebook page, notices on Channel 18 and the Madison Patch and through local papers.
