The North Madison Volunteer Fire Company is one of two volunteer fire companies that cover the town. The other is…More Madison Hose Co. No. 1 Inc.</p> <p>The North Madison Volunteer Fire Company protects the north end of town, covering about 3,000 residences, businesses, and woodland in about 23 square miles. The company also provides emergency medical services to residents in the north end of town. Members of the company also are supplemental first responder to the Madison Police Department.</p> <p>The company always is seeking new volunteers.
