Led by Pastor Brad Chase, Grace Community Church invites people to worship every Sunday at Island Avenue School onMore Island Avenue in Madison. Sunday school, open to everyone from toddlers to adults, starts at 8:45am on Sundays. Services start at 10am. The church also organizes youth groups.

Island Avenue Elementary School is one of three elementary schools serving students grades K to 4. The principal isMore Kathy A. Nutley. PTO meetings are held in the school's multipurpose room. Times and dates are posted on the school website. Parents also are encouraged to become involved by helping out in the library.

Parents dropping off students should circle around the back and return to the front drop off point, making sure the child exits the car on the passenger side. To pick up in the afternoon, parents should park their cars and come inside the back of the school for the pick up line.

The Madison Public Schools Central Office runs the Madison Public Schools with oversight from the More href="http://patch.com/L-gC9N">Madison Public Schools Board of Education. There are six public schools and a preschool in the school system. Those schools include the following:

David Klein is the school superintendent. The schools serve about 3,000 students. The goal of the Madison Public Schools is to "to support students in achieving their highest educational and personal potential, to inspire in them an enduring love for learning, and to prepare them to be 21st Century citizens of the world who contribute to the diverse, multicultural and international communities in which they will live."
