Mercy Center at Madison

Located on a serene and beautiful 33-acre beachfront estate, the Mercy Center retreat and conference facility provides a place for people and large groups to engage in spiritual renewal and professional growth. The center's mission statement is "to nurture a relationship with the Sacred in self, others and creation that seeks to foster a just and compassionate world." The center is affiliated with the Sisters of Mercy, an organization dedicated to serving the sick, poor, oppressed and uneducated, with an emphasis on women and children. The Gospel-inspired Sisters follow in the footsteps of Catherine McAuley, the first Sister of Mercy, who was born to prosperous parents and later dedicated her life to serving the poor. Mercy Center programs include directed retreats, a school of spirituality and a sabbatical program.
