Generosity abounds in Madison. This week the MCS Food Pantry received a donation of $4,500 from the Madison Women's Club. This was the result of a Wine Tasting Fund Raiser that they held at the Madison Winter Club in September. Thanks to the leadership of this organization: Josephine Mokriski, Katherine DeBurra, Barbara DeRosa, Judy Koch, Mary Smith, Berit Mana and Dee Mulqueen. The wine was donated by Hammonasset Package Store.

Also this week, St. Margaret's Church had it's Annual Holiday Food Drive and donated over 300 bags of groceries. The total amount of food was 3,327 lbs. of food. Thank you to Beth Coyne who organizes this food drive. This food comes at a very crucial time of the year.
