Madison's New Christmas Tree Takes Root!
The new tree was provided and planted by a group of local volunteers.
Madison has a new Christmas tree, thanks to the dedicated work of a group of volunteers.
Thanks to the group! Volunteers included George Gerard of Madison Auto Body, Jay Santoro of Madison Flower Shop & Garden Center, Mike Grigor of Affordable Tree experts, Kenny Evarts of Seashore Cnstruction, Charlie Iselin of Iselin Tree Experts, and Phil Janssen of Lawn & Stump Service.
The new tree was planted on Monday, April 22 at 11 a.m. Thanks to Rich Messier of High Tide Gourmet for taking the pictures!
The new tree replaces the old tree, which was so badly damaged by a succession of big storms that it finally had to be retired and taken down.
