Madison Food Pantry Report: Much To Give Thanks For, More Help Needed

Editor's Note: If you want to help ... The Madison Food Pantry is located at 50 Mungertown Road, Units 3 and 4. Donations can be dropped off at the pantry on Tuesdays between 2 and 3:30 PM or there is a drop off point in downtown at Raveis Realty. Anyone interested in making a donation can make out the checks to Madison Community Services. On the memo line write in Madison Food Pantry. Send the checks to MCS, PO Box 148 Madison, CT 06443

Margaret and I would also like to recognize Barb and Jim Francese and Lisa Preikszas and thank them for their dedication to the Homebound Program. Barb and Lisa are Coordinators of this program for MCS Food Pantry. Each week they bag the items that the Homebound clients have requested from a designated shopping list. They prepare the bags for delivery on Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning. These bags are delivered by drivers from N2N on Wednesday.
