Law Enforcement Torch Run Friday At 12:25 p.m.

Show your support for the Madison Police Department, and Madison businesses supporting the torch run.

On Friday, June 8, 2012 the Madison Police Department will again be proud to participate in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run to Benefit Special Olympics.  The five and a half mile route for Madison Police Department runners and Special Olympics athletes will begin at the Clinton town line at approximately 12:25 PM and end at the Guilford town line at approximately 1:25 PM.  The route will be run entirely along Boston Post Road.  The runners will enter Madison town center at approximately 12:45 PM.

Please show your support by cheering on the Special Olympic athletes and Madison Police Department officer as they carry the “Flame of Hope” on its 530 mile journey across Connecticut raising funds and awareness for Special Olympics.  Please also show you support for the numerous Madison businesses that generously supported the Torch Run by making donations to the “Adopt-A-Mile” program, making them eligible to have a “mile marker” placed along the route.
