Madison Community Services, with the help of many volunteers, delivered Thanksgiving baskets stuffed with frozen turkeys, the fixings, fresh milk, and homebaked goods to 40 families and 61 seniors and singles Monday morning and afternoon.

Vinny Diglio, who helped organize the baskets and their delivery with his wife Margaret Diglio, said they had more volunteers than ever this year and gave thanks to all who helped.

"We also would like to thank the Madison Community Services Board Members who came by to help," Diglio said. "We'd like to thank the Lions who came in the morning and Cheryl Campbell and her Leo group in the afternoon. Barb Francese and Ann Fogg helped set up the Surf Club. Thanks also to the Girl Scouts for their delicious cookies and breads and finally Big Y Store Manager Sal Fazzino for getting us the best price for the food that was purchased by MCS."
