There were reports of food shortages in pantries throughout the state of Connecticut. That was not the case for the Madison Community Services Food Pantry.
Due to the generosity of Madison residents, organizations and businesses there was an ample supply of food for all the clients.

Clients who were not eligible for Holiday Baskets had the opportunity to receive a turkey and fixings supplied to us by The Conneciticut Food Bank in East Haven. A team of MCS Food Pantry volunteers went to CTFB to pick up the food which was distributed on Wednesday.
We were very fortunate that MCS Food Pantry was able to provide food for people this Holiday Season.
This week MCS distributed Holiday Baskets to 40 families and 61 seniors and singles.
