Madison Neighbor to Neighbor News: It Takes A Village
Polson kids are working on a project to support the N2N energy assistance program
Peg Butler of Madison Youth and Family Services Peer Helper Program works with middle school kids at Polson. She contacted us with news that the Polson kids were working on a project to support the N2N energy assistance program.
The kids constructed 7 miniature houses that are collection boxes. You will be seeing these all over the downtown area. The Polson kids hope to raise money that will go directly to N2N to help rebuild the fuel assistance program which has been depleted.
(Federal and State energy assistance has been cut by 50%.)
