One of our favorite photos is Isaac the Afghan hound tooling around in his TR6. Isaac, with his debonair riding goggles, can often be seen cruising around town in good weather with his driver, John T. Datsko. If you see them, and they have a free minute or two, ask John about how he ended up with his beloved Afghan hound. It's a wonderful story, with a few surprising twists and a moment of serendipity. John not only tells it well, but he may even be willing to let you take a photo of the dynamic duo.

After what promises to be a sunny day Sunday, it looks like the last week of summer could be characterized by some very unsettled weather.

Then there will be the slow march towards chilly weather, then winter, which starts Dec. 21st this year, and then spring, which starts March 20, 2013.

We can always hope for a beautiful Indian Summer sometime in October of November as well!
