The Madison Jaycees will host their annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day featuring a 5-mile road race and a 2-mile family fitness walk.

For 35 years, the race has been a Thanksgiving Day tradition for over 4,000 participants making it one of CT’s largest races. The flat, fast course through Hammonasset Beach State Park features picturesque views of sand dunes, salt marshes and Long Island Sound.

The success of this event has allowed the Jaycees to donate over $300,000 to local charities all along the Shoreline including soup kitchens, food banks, and other non-profit organizations.

NEW THIS YEAR: We will be collecting non-perishable food donations and new and gently used books for Read to Grow.  Items may be dropped off at packet pick-up (Nov. 26 or Nov. 27, 121 Samson Rock Drive) or at the race.
