Madison Youth Team Wins Second State Championship

Madison sports team excels

Madison's under 12 gold boys travel team won their second state championship in the fall. The under 12 gold boys team was the first Madison boys team to ever win the Connecticut cup state championship.

And, on Saturday they became the first-ever Madison team to win the state championship twice and back-to-back by beating Wallingford 4-2 at the Farmington Sports Arena.

Behind Kevin Wray's four goals and strong team play, this team was able to accomplish something that has never been done in Madison.
