Madison Hoop Dreams Scores Another Successful Summer (With Video)

Camp Has Been Enrolling Up To 90-100 Campers A Week; For The Last Week Starting July 25th, Will Be Expanded To 120 Campers; Five Openings Left For Grades 3 To 6.

Coach Bill Barker, the director of Madison Hoop Dreams, says his camp has had another wildly successful summer, enrolling between 90 and 100 campers most weeks.

"I credit my co-directors, Coach Steve Ongley and my daughter, Tammy Boris, along with an outstanding coaching staff for providing a loving, caring atmosphere that helps each camper improve his/her skills and love for the game. We have had a sell out every week," he said in an email."

For the final week, from July 25 to July 29, Barker said he is expanding enrollment to up to 120 campers, with three leagues instead of the two the camp usually has.

"The advantage for the campers is more homogeneous grouping. The NCAA will be for grades 3 & 4 and the Semi-pro league will be for grades 5 & 6. The NBA (grades 7 - 10) is sold out with 60 campers. We have only 5 openings for grades 3 - 6," he said.
