Many people have expressed an interest in seeing the land and the plans for turning it into a park with open space, three ball fields (without lights, no bleachers), and also a kayak launch.

The town and the Madison Park Development Committee will open the land for people to walk.

In addition, Patrick Comens, the Director of Bird Conservation for Audubon Connecticut will be present to lead tours of the land, especially the “coastal forest” and help visitors identify the bird life that inhabits the land, and uses it for migration.

The members of the Development Committee will also be present to answer questions about the plans for the future of the park. All Madison citizens are welcome to come. Parking will be outside the park at its entrance from Route 1, but the entire park will be open.
