Spring Bird Walk at Hammonasset Beach State Park

Join us each Saturday from April 14 through June 16, when we head over to Hammonasset Beach State Park to see returning spring migrants.  See migratory shorebirds, songbirds, and birds of prey at the premier birding area in Connecticut.  Hammonasset boasts varied habitats, mostly level terrain and wide open viewing.  Jerry Connolly or an occasional guest expert will lead the group.

Beginners are welcome.  Bring binoculars (rentals available).  Spotting scopes and cameras are also welcome.

Meet each Saturday at The Audubon Shop 7:50 a.m., depart promptly at 8a.m.
