Closer to Free Bike Ride Registration Kick Off Party!
We are hard at work planning the 2012 Closer to Free Bike Ride, scheduled to take place on September 8th. We know it may seem far away, but training season is just around the corner.
Our online rider and volunteer registration is expected to open on March 1, 2012, and we encourage you to register early in order to help you reach your fundraising goal. Registration can be completed at www.rideclosertofree.org.
To kick off the opening of our online registration, we invite you to join us on Tuesday, March 6th from 5:00 - 7:30 at Kelly's Restaurant and Bar in New Haven (196 Crown Street). This event is open to anyone who is interested in riding, volunteering, or supporting the ride! Please help spread the word, and invite your friends, family, and neighbors to join you and learn more about the ride and supporting Smilow Cancer Hospital. As a special incentive, any attendee who registers that evening to either ride or volunteer will receive a special gift!
