The Joseph Manganello Memorial Regatta was this past weekend and if you were anywhere near Long Island Sound in Madison or Guilford Saturday or Sunday, it was hard to miss it.
The beach catamarans, which launched off the Surf Club in Madison, CT, took full advantage of decent weather both days. The race is held annually to honor Joseph Manganello, who passed away in 2007. Many of the participants knew Manganello or were his students.
