An Explanation

A bit different today.
And an EXTREMELY short one:

As those who have been following Scranton Pager Turner from its inception understand, I tend NOT to write reviews about popular best seller books as they are fairly easy to discover on your own.

I’ve also decided in GENERAL to NOT review books by well established authors who have been publishing for years now.  I’m thinking of writers such as:
–Michael Connelly
–Carl Hiaasen
–Harlan Coben

These authors are well established in the field and don’t necessarily need to have their books detailed and reviewed by yet another person. The point behind Scranton Page Turner as I’ve mentioned previously is to introduce you to new writers you have probably not known before. As is typically the case however, there may be times when I read a best selling book that I feel deserves a review or a book by an established writer that I feel should be discussed.  These will be few and far between.

I simply wanted let my readers know in what direction I was going and why you won’t see books on my review blog by established writers and current best sellers.

Until next time…
