Tigers Sting the Yellow Jackets, 42-0
The Daniel Hand football team continued its unbeaten streak with a convincing win over East Haven at the Surf Club Friday night.
With the Tigers in the lead 21-0 early in the second quarter, Coach Filippone began pulling his starters from the game. The replacements held their own and scored another 21 points without giving up a score. Nick Vitale, Austin Paradis, Ian O'Toole, Matt Sullivan, Brendan Bilcheck and Tommy Schultz all scored.
The 8-0 Tigers will meet Hamden next Friday at the Surf Club for the final home game of the regular season.
