Ryerson Elementary School celebrated Famous Connecticut People Day Friday

Parents were invited into the classrooms around 2pm. to watch slideshows about famous and interesting Connecticut people throughout history. Among those featured were Harriet Beecher Stowe, Noah Webster, Nathan Hale, Madison artist Ken Davies, Eli Whitney, and Ethan Allen.

Around 2:45 p.m. parents were invited to the cafeteria to view biobottles, replicas of each person, that the students created along with a poem or description.
