Renata Diotalevi, Augustin Manke Honored As Scholar Athletes
Recognized for exemplary academic and athletic careers, high personal standards and achievements, and high levels of integrity, self-discipline and courage.
The CIAC on Sunday, May 6, honored a male and female athlete from each school in the state at the Aqua Turf in Southington, CT. Daniel Hand High School scholar athlete award winners were Renata Diotalevi and Augustin Manke.
The Scholar-Athlete Program annually recognizes two high School seniors- one boy and one girl- from each CIAC member school whose academic and athletic careers have been exemplary, whose personal standards and achievements are a model to others, and who possess high levels of integrity, self-discipline and courage.
