The Board of Education, at its meeting on April 2, 2013, appointed Anthony (TJ) Salutari as the Principal of Daniel Hand High School, effective July 1, 2013. Mr. Salutari will replace Barbara Britton who will retire from her position at the end of the 2012- 2013 school year.
Mr. Salutari has worked for the past six years as the Principal of the Rochambeau Middle School for Regional School District #15 in Southbury, Connecticut.
Mr. Salutari has previous experience as the Principal of the Thompson Middle School and Assistant Principal of the Mary R. Fisher Elementary School also in Thompson, Connecticut.
