Megan Lynch And James Florentine Named Daniel Hand High School Scholar-Athletes

Daniel Hand High School Seniors James Florentine and Megan Lynch have been named Connecticut Association of Schools--Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference scholar athletes.

Their accomplishments were celebrated with their parents, coaches and others at the Aqua Turf on Sunday, May 1, said Daniel Hand High School Athletic Director Craig Semple.

"The Scholar-Athlete Program annually recognizes two high school seniors - one boy and one girl - from each member high school whose academic and athletic careers have been exemplary, whose personal standards and achievements are a model to others, and who possess high levels of integrity, self-discipline and courage," according to the
