Sartiano, a senior at Connecticut College, has been awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship, the college announced on its website.

According to Connecticut College, Sartiano, who will graduate this year with as an English and German double major, plans to teach English in Germany.

Her experiences studying abroad in Germany and volunteering at New London Public Schools and local writing centers encouraged her to apply for the Fulbright, the article says.
