The Quinnipiac Bobcats released a roundup of the season's baseball highlights so far, and Madison walk-on Brian Heflin has been included.
Here's what the Bobcats had to say about their Hef:
"Freshman walk-on Brian Heflin (Madison, Conn.) has made two appearances this season, both resulting in pinch hit singles. Heflin made his collegiate debut on March 10 against Richmond when he pinch hit Scott Donaghue in the ninth inning of an 8-0 loss stroking a two-out single up the middle. Heflin made his second appearance on Sunday, April 1 against CCSU, lining a single to right field."

The team is set to play Connecticut College on Monday, April 9 and University of Rhode Island on Tuesday, April 10 following this weekend's NEC Series at Monmouth University.
