From Gov. Dannel Malloy's office:

Winter Weather Advisories Have Been Issued for the Entire State

Governor Dannel P. Malloy will partially activate the state’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) at 1:00PM today to monitor storm conditions across the state heading into the afternoon rush hour.

“After talking with my emergency management officials and assessing the situation, we will be partially activating the State Emergency Operations Center at 1:00PM today,” said Governor Malloy. “This will allow us to quickly respond to any problems that may arise as a result of today’s storm. I am asking everyone to take it slow as you head out for your afternoon commute.”

The current forecast is calling for the snow to become moderate by mid-afternoon and continue through the afternoon rush hour. Total snowfall is currently forecast to range from 3"-5" in Western Connecticut and 4"-6" in Eastern Connecticut.
