IAS PTO Holding Voting Contest; Announces New Executive Board

This information is from the Island Avenue School PTO: 

• Budget Referendum: Voting for the Education budget will take place on Tuesday, May 14th. We encourage all to vote!!
• Voting Contest: In an effort to get parents out to vote, the IAS PTO will hold a voting sticker contest. The classroom with the most “I voted” stickers, will be awarded an outdoor picnic at the end of the school day, with pizza and lemonade! Stickers must be brought in on Wednesday, May 15th.
• Spirit Wear: Recently an order form was sent home for Island Ave Spirit Wear. Orders are due May 17th. No orders will be accepted after that date to ensure delivery by the first week of June.
• 2013-2014 Executive Board: We are pleased to announce the 2013-2014 IAS PTO Executive Board.

The swearing in of new board members will take place at the General Meeting held on May 31st at 9:30 am in the IAS multipurpose room. In addition, we will have an end of year wrap up and go over volunteer opportunities. All are invited to attend! 

• Teacher Appreciation Week: A big THANKS to all of our IAS teachers for their dedication and hard work and to all the volunteers that made the extra effort to show our teachers how much we appreciate them!
