Middle school parents and guardians interested in learning more about “How to Pay for College” and navigating the financial process should attend the presentation sponsored by the Daniel Hand High School guidance department on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 7:00-8:00 pm in the DHHS Dining/Assembly Hall.

The target audience will be middle school parents, grades 5 through 8.  A college funding expert will discuss the financial aid system and how it works, what types of assistance are available, and what aid families can reasonably expect to see.

In addition, the program will also include tips and ideas for both traditional and creative ways to pay for college, as well as information about college savings plans such as 529’s, EE bonds, UGMA accounts, and CHET.
