Amphibians And Beardsley Zoo At St. Andrew's

Amphibians will be taking their acts indoors as Ranger Russ Miller hosts a live show Saturday, Feb. 12, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Church in Madison.

The featured amphibians, native to Connecticut, would include a wood frog, a gray tree frog, a spotted salamander, and a marblehead salamander, among others. Those in attendance will be asked to vote for “the most interesting amphibian” and explain the reasons for their vote. The event is part of the four-lecture/presentation series sponsored by the Bauer Family Trust.

Bridgeport’s Beardsley Zoo will take part of its show on the road at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, as handlers bring live animals to St. Andrew’s Church in Madison. Admission is free.
