Lecture: Religion Masquerading as Science

Religion Masquerading as Science: The Latest Battle Tactics in the War Against Evolution will be the topic of a talk by Andrew Schneider, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Connecticut, on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the Shoreline Unitarian Universalist Society.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Schneider has been Executive Director of the ACLU's Connecticut affiliate since 2007. He previously served as Executive Director of the ACLU of West Virginia, Development Director for the ACLU of New Mexico, Campus Groups Coordinator for the ACLU National Office, Board member of the ACLU of Virginia, and founder and president of the ACLU campus chapter at Washington & Lee University, where he earned his B.A. in European History.
