Madison's Elizabeth Smith has been selected for the Sister Antonine Signorelli, ASCJ Memorial Scholarship at Sacred Heart Academy, the school announced.
Smith is one of five students named Sister Antonine Scholars for 2012, and will receive a tuition stipend.

According to the announcement, students were selected based on entrance exam scores and academic potential.
The four other scholars are Helena Bui of Branford, Anna Gleason of Cheshire, Kathleen Malison of Guilford and Emily Malison of Guilford.
