Nite In Hand Takes Place At 10 p.m. No Matter What; Graduation Will Be Friday At 10 a.m. If The Weather Does Not Cooperate Thursday Night

Students, parents, and school administrators are searching for a weather forecast that will give them hope that the Daniel Hand High School graduation, scheduled to take place Thursday at 6 p.m., will go off as planned.

Rain won't stop it, but thunder, lightning and other dangerous weather will. And the forecast for Thursday night, as of late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, called for showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

If the weather does not cooperate, the graduation will take place on Friday, June 24, at 10:00 a.m. In that case parents will be notified by an automated phone call and eNotify message after 3:00 p.m.. Notification also will be posted on the DHHS website at www.danielhand.org or cable channel 19, and on Madison Patch.
