Daniel Hand High School Fall Sports Night Will Be Wednesday, Sept. 7

The Daniel Hand High School Department of Athletics will present its Fall Sports Night on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 6:00 pm in the Dining and Assembly Hall at Daniel Hand High School. ALL fall student-athletes are expected to attend this meeting, and parents are strongly encouraged to join their children.

Presentation topics will include pre-, in, and post season requirements, student-athlete eligibility, code of conduct, and communication. Coach Steve Filippone and Coach Erik Becker will conduct a brief presentation on “The Life of an Athlete”.

Following this presentation, parents will have the opportunity to meet with their athlete’s coach. Please note that this is an informational meeting, and individual concerns should be brought to the coach’s attention in a separate meeting.

On Thursday, September 8 team pictures for the yearbook will be taken. Student-athletes will have the opportunity to have individual poses taken at this time. Picture envelopes are available from the coach and also from the Athletics’ Office.

Also, the school has announced that underclass pictures are rescheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 4 and Wednesday, Oct. 5. Additional order forms are available in the main office.
