Daniel Hand $650,000 Synthetic Turf Field Project on Schedule

The project is slightly under budget as well.

Installing a new $650,000 synthetic turf field at Daniel Hand High School is progressing on time and slightly under budget, said Superintendent of Schools Thomas Scarice.
He told Madison Patch that the field should be ready in time for football practice in late August. The previous field lasted ten years and needed to be replaced, the superintendent said.
Scarice said this new turf field will be of much higher quality than the other field, and that it will actually improve safety of the student-athletes.
