Congratulations DHHS Technology Teacher Dan Grenier!

Grenier named 2012 Connecticut Technology Education Teacher of the Year.


Daniel Hand High School technology education teacher Dan Grenier has been named the 2012 Connecticut Technology Education Teacher of the Year by the Connecticut Technology Education Association and the International Technology and Engineering Education Association.

Grenier will be honored in March at the ITEEA Conference in Long Beach California and the CTEA Conference in May at Central Connecticut State University.

"This honor is awarded to Connecticut technology education teachers who have demonstrated a commitment to the profession, a willingness to provide professional development to fellow educators and active involvement in professional associations," said Anita L. Rutlin, Interim Superintendent for Madison Public Schools, in an email to parents.

My son Cameron always enjoyed Mr. Grenier's classes and would like to send along his congratulations on this achievement! The CTEA made a wonderful choice.
