"We had an overwhelmingly competitive applicant pool for the assistant principal positions for Brown and Polson," Madison School Superintendent Thomas Scarice said in a letter to parents in the school district. "The candidates participated in a very rigorous three-level interview process with the district during which Ms. Roy and Mrs. Frost excelled. I’d like to commend Anita Rutlin, Julie Phelps, Frank Henderson, the interview committees, and our entire Human Resources Department for a very thorough, professional hiring process that resulted in bringing these two competent leaders to the Madison Public Schools."

Roy and Frost both are looking forward to the opportunity to move into Administrative roles with the Madison Public Schools and support the administration and staff in continuing the high level of student learning and achievement at the middle school level, Scarice said.

"Brown School Principal Julie Phelps and Polson School Principal Frank Henderson are both thrilled to have persons of Ms. Roy and Mrs. Frost’s caliber join their schools as new leadership teammates," Scarice said.
