New Options for Flexible SAT Prep Classes

Traditionally, students taking an SAT course have had to choose between the SAT class and other important extracurricular activities. Not anymore.

As an entrepreneur in education technology, I am always seeking opportunities to present new effective and efficient options for students and their parents. As fall comes into sight, many students and parents will be seeking an effective test preparation solution for the October SAT exam.

While a high score on the SAT is certainly important, it is only one of the factors that will help a student achieve acceptance to their choice of colleges. Other important factors includes high school academic performance; extracurricular activities, including clubs, sports and charity work; jobs that demonstrate skills and responsibility; and a passion for culture and hobbies.

Traditionally, most SAT prep courses have been offered on a ridged schedule, providing students with only one option each week to take the math or verbal section. This inflexible SAT class schedule rarely works for busy, college-bound students and results in them and their parents having to choose between missing an SAT class or missing an extracurricular activity that might also bolster their college application package.

Beginning this fall, students will no longer be required to choose between their SAT course and other important activities. TutaPoint, in cooperating with a group of professional and accomplished SAT instructors is now offering a comprehensive 5 week SAT course with flexible class dates. The live SAT course offers two opportunities each week to take each section - this means two chances to take the math section and two opportunities to take the verbal section each week.

Offering a flexible schedule for the online SAT Prep class is one of the features to impact outcomes, increasing SAT scores. Other features that we have integrated into the course include:
