Holiday Drop & Shop at The Madison Arts Barn

Holiday Drop & Shop - Drop off your children for a fun afternoon and take some time to get ready for the holidays. All proceeds will be donated to local charities.

Do you need some time to get ready for the holidays without your kids around to see what you are buying or wrapping.  Well, Erika Klaskin did and thought that if she provided a fun place for parents to drop off their kids while they were getting ready for the holidays she could also raise money for her charity project she is working on for her Bat Mitzvah. Erika is raising money for two Connecticut charities that support children with cancer - Circle of Care and Dances with Wood.  She will be holding two Holiday Drop & Shop days at the Madison Arts Barn where parents can drop off their children for an afternoon of fun and take some time to shop and get ready for the holidays.  The first one is this coming Friday, November 23th (Black Friday) from 12PM - 4 PM and the second is December 22nd from 2PM - 6 PM. Children ages 5 and up can play games, watch age appropriate movies, do crafts and even make holiday presents for friends and family under the supervision of Erika, her friends and adult volunteers. The cost is $5 per hour and all siblings are just $2.50 per hour.  You can sign up on Friends of Madison Youth's website at www.madisonartsbarn.com under the buy event tickets tab or send an email to madisonartsbarn@gmail.com.  All the proceeds with be donated to Circle of Care and Dances with Wood.
