A Blast from the Barn

Have you heard what is going on at the Barn this winter?  

First Friends of Madison Youth (FOMY) is looking for talented teens to create their own Super Bowl Commercials or Music Videos for our 3rd annual Super Bowl Commercial & Music Video Competition.  This competition is open to 5th through 12th grade students.  Prizes will be given for funniest, most original, best technology and more! Cash Prizes up to $100.  Submission are due no later than January 17, 2014 at 6PM.  On January 25, 2014 from 6-8PM FOMY will be showing all the videos at the Viewing & Voting Party!

In December the Barn began a new Teen Open Mic program that was a tremendous success.  The band Extrasensory hosted and played for a crowd of over 125 people.  Over the course of the night over thirty teens got up and performed.  Some with the host band and other on there own. FOMY will continue the Open Mics on the first Saturday night of every month from 7-10PM. The next Teen Open Mic Night at the Barn is January 4, 2014 will be hosted by School of Rock.   Come down to perform or just come to watch the talent.  

Come in out of the cold and have fun at the Winter Wipeout! January 11th at the Barn  - Admission includes a giant inflatable obstacle course * bungee run * Cash Cube with $50 Jackpot per session * Midway Games * Double Shot Basketball * Prizes * Pizza * Hot Dogs & Concessions.  Open Age Sessions - Session One - 1-3PM and Session Two 3:30 -5:30PM.  Session Three open to 5th grade and up. One This year FOMY is offering Birthday Party Packages and a private party room. Options available to provide everything from goody bags to pizza.
