The Powder Room

It's most likely the smallest room in your home, but as we all know,  the greatest things can come in the smallest packages!  I always suggest to my clients that we create an impact in the small space that more often than not, is the most visited room in your house.   Think about making your guests feel welcome by adding fresh flowers in the powder room along with beautiful soaps and linens.  Use a big mirror, not a dinky one,  to create drama and style.  Avoid mixing the metal finishes in your space as well.  For example, if you have a polished nickel faucet, then stay away from a gold framed mirror.  When you have room for sconces or a pretty chandelier go for it.  Lighting is key in any room.
This holiday season, use seasonal flowers and  pleasant scented candles to welcome your guests in all the areas of your home.

Above all, enjoy your family and friends and Happy Thanksgiving!  See you back here in 2 weeks with more tips on making your home your own.
