By registering with FEMA, residents and businesses will be able to determine whether they are eligible for federal disaster relief.

Just a few days remain for Connecticut residents to apply for federal disaster assistance to help recover from Tropical Storm Irene, according to the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection (DESPP) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 is the deadline to apply. By registering with FEMA, residents and businesses will be able to determine whether they are eligible for federal disaster relief, said Gov.
